Trivia :

  • According to Iago voice actor, Örn Árnason, Ágúst Guðmundsson is not the dubbing director of this film. In reality, the director is Júlíus Agnarsson. (source : Örn Árnason)
  • The Return of Jafar was Júlíus Agnarsson's first dub directing project for Disney. Júlíus had previously directed a few other Icelandic dubbings such as Rock-A-Doodle, and worked as technician on the first Aladdin movie as well as The Lion King. Júlíus later directed most Disney movies starting with Tarzan in 1999 and ending with Wreck-It Ralph in 2012, which he directed shortly before his death in 2013. The dubbing of Monsters University was dedicated in his memory.
