Trivia :
- Dubbing year : 1995
- Aladdin's speaking lines were redubbed in 2008 by Shin'ichirō Miki as Kenji Haga was arrested and sentenced to prison in 2007 following fraud and extortion charges. This also occurred with the original Aladdin film as well. Aladdin and the King of Thieves was unaffected as Shin'ichirō Miki dubbed Aladdin in the 1996 film already. This makes The Return of Jafar the only Disney direct-to-video film to be dubbed twice in Japanese.
- Kenji Haga is credited on the Disney+ credits as Aladdin's speaking voice. The version on the streaming platform is the second version with Shin'ichirō Miki dubbing Aladdin's speaking voice.
- The original 1995 VHS release did not credit the Japanese voice actors and technical crew. Japanese credits started appearing on VHS in 1996 with Pocahontas.
