Trivia :

  • Premiere : 11/05/1993 (Stockholm International Film Festival)
  • Premiere : 11/19/1993 (General release)
  • Andreas Nilsson auditioned for the role of the Genie, but was turned down as Dan Ekborg was already chosen by Disney. Source
  • Steve Kratz also auditioned for Genie.
  • In 2004, part of "Arabian Nights" was redubbed as it was deemed politically incorrect by Disney. Per Eggers sang this version as well.
  • Micke Dubious (voice of Razoul), tragically committed suicide at the age of 46 on November 30th 2005. He was found dead by his ex girlfriend in the basement of his apartment. Micke was a well known Swedish comedian, Razoul was also his only dub role. (source) Razoul was later dubbed by Hasse Andersson and Johan Hedenberg.
