Trivia :

  • Premiere : 12/03/1971
  • Re-release : 12/05/1980
  • Re-release : 03/17/1994
  • The beginning "Walt Disney Productions Presents" was not translated into Swedish on the VHS release.
  • Actors Ingvar Kjellson (Edgar) and Meta Velander (Amelia Gabble) were married in real life.
  • The intro song was not dubbed into Swedish. Instead the French version sung by Maurice Chevalier was used.
  • In the 1970s, some scenes were cut including the dogs chasing Edgar at the windmill and Edgar brandishing a pitchfork at Thomas O'Malley for censorship reasons.
  • In the 1994 re-release and video/DVD releases, the film is presented uncut and was remixed into stereo resulting in double music and sound effects in some of the scenes.
