Trivia :
- In the original German version from 1950, Erika Görner (Drizella) also provided the narration for the prologue. In 1992, the prologue was redubbed by German actor Joachim Pukaß. The original prologue was more faithful to the original English version. The 1992 prologue was redone to explain why Achenputtel was called Cinderella in the German version.
- Another change came in the prologue song. In the original German version, the song was dubbed. The 1992 version replaced this with an instrumental.
- Despite this, the film is otherwise unchanged and remains the oldest Disney animated film that was not redubbed into German (if these changes do not count)
