- There are two Swedish dubs. The first made in 1950 and the second from 1967.
- The first dubbing was mixed in France.
- The redub was made due to the Swedish language changing over time. It was also made as a publicity stunt for Alice Babs.
- The 1967 redub cost 70,000 Swedish Krona to make. (source)
- Cinderella was the first Disney animated film to receive a second Swedish dub. The first dub is not available for public viewing and is likely in the Disney Vaults in Burbank, California. The extracts that have surfaced are from the 1980s rental video releases of Disney's Greatest Dog Stars and Disney's Greatest Villains.
- The 1992 VHS has Swedish translation credits but the credits contain the 1950 names instead of the 1967 names due to an error. The dubbing on the tape is the 1967 redubbing.
- *Dubbningshemsidan lists Elisaveta Kjellgren as being the voice of Drizella, but her name was localized as Gabriella in both Swedish dubs, so it's not currently known who Elisaveta Kjellgren voiced.
- Sif Ruud participated in both dubbings as the Fairy Godmother. She was also the narrator in the second dubbing as well.
I would like to thank Leo Löfgren-Roberts for sending in his materials for this entry. :)
