Trivia :
- This film was dubbed into Brazilian Portuguese three times. Once in 1941, again in 1969, and again for the final cinema re-release in 1993.
- The 1941 dub started recording in 1941 while the Brazilian dubbings of Dumbo and The Reluctant Dragon were also in production. The 1941 dub did not premiere in Rio de Janeiro until 1943.
- Peri Riberio is the son of Dalva de Oliveira (first Brazilian voice of Snow White) and was four years old when recording his lines as Bambi in the first dubbing.
- Most of the casting information of the first two dubs has become lost as they were not documented often in the press. Only fragments of the first two casts have been uncovered in newspaper articles from around the time.
- The 1941 dub left the songs in English.
- All Brazilian releases have the 1993 dub on VHS / DVD / Blu-Ray.
- The 1994 Brazilian VHS release left the titles in English. The Brazilian Portuguese translated titles were included on the 1994 Portugal VHS and the 2005 Brazilian VHS.
- The 1941 dub is completely lost. The 1969 dub was issued in fragments on a Portugal LP record containing the songs and some dialogues from the film.
- The 1993 dub reused the translation and lyrics from the 1969 dub. It is unclear why the film was redubbed in 1993. A possibility is that Disney did not like the idea that Young Thumper was dubbed by a woman and wanted the character to be dubbed by a boy (like the original English version.)
- Due to the formatting of the Blu-Ray credits, Aloysio de Oliveira is credited as a singer when in reality, he was the lyricist.
- Portugal would use the 1993 dubbing for the first VHS release. They would use this dub until a European Portuguese dubbing was commissioned by Disney Character Voices International.
