Trivia :
- Premiere : 12/21/1990 (Canada)
- Premiere : 11/27/1991 (France)
- Despite this film not having songs, the French version recorded a song for the end credits which was unique to this version.
- In Canada, the film's French title was changed to Bernard et Bianca en Australie. On the VHS release, the film's title card was changed to reflect this. Despite this, there is no Canadian French dubbing as the French version presented on the VHS release is the same one from France.
- Boris Roatta (the voice of Cody) died in 1994 after a traffic collision while he was cycling in Auguilles. He was only 14 years old.
