- There are two Italian dubs of this film. The first from 1938 and the second from 1972.
- The 1953 re-release was only offered on 16 mm film.
- Italy was the first country to receive Snow White on VHS before the rest of the world. It was released during May 1994 while the rest of the world received the film October/November 1994.
- For the 1994 VHS, the text, "era così bella, anche nella morte, che ai nani mancò il cuore di seppellirla..." was taken from the 1938 version. In 1972, the text was changed to, "così bella, anche nella morte, che i nani non ebbero l'animo di seppellirla..." This error also applies to the 2001 DVD release as well. The correct title can be found on the Eclecta VHS from 1991/1992.
- For the 1994 cinema re-release, 1994 VHS release and 2001 DVD release, the opening book translated into Italian was removed. The reason for this being that the narration from the 1972 dub did not correspond to the text onscreen. The book was left in English. The ending book text "...e da quel giorno vissero sempre felici e contenti." was left intact.
- For the Public Domain Eclecta VHS, the titles are taken from the 1987 print of the film while the film itself uses the the 1972 or 1980 re-release print. The film starts in the middle of the opening credits to remove mention of Walt Disney and the film ends with "Fine" cropped to remove Disney's name. Some copies have "SNOW WHITE" from the original film stock shown at the end of the film. There is a 1992 reprint of the 1991 VHS with the colors tinted in red. The print used is exactly the same between the prints. Curiously, the texts are presented in a different aspect ratio (1.85:1) compared to the rest of the film (1.37:1).
