Trivia :
- There are three French dubbings of this film. The first from 1938, the second from 1962, and the third from 2001.
- The first dubbing was recorded at the Walt Disney Studios in Hollywood.
- Lily Pons was interested in voicing Snow White in the original 1938 dub, but negotiations fell through.
- The Grincheux pie is only included on the 1938 version. The 1962 & 2001 versions used the neutral version instead.
- *= In the second dub, some of the Dwarfs have different singing voices during Heigh Ho, but their speaking voices sing the rest of the songs.
- The 1962 dub was made to match the new audience's contemporary standards.
- The 2001 version was created as Lucie Dolène (the voice of Snow White in the 1962 dubbing) sued Disney over royalties of the use of her voice on the home media releases in 1996. She won her lawsuit and her parts were redubbed accordingly. In Snow White's case, the entire movie was redubbed.
I would like to thank Leonardo Forli for sending in the France Laserdisc and newspaper clippings !! :)
