  • ​There are two versions of this film. The original from 1938 and the second from 1965.
  • The 1938 dub marked the first time a film from the United States was dubbed into Brazilian Portuguese.
  • Due to the 1965 version being released before any home media release, the original 1938 dub is lost. 
  • Cybele Freire was not credited on the VHS release as she didn't agree with Disney with the use of her voice on the home media release.
  • In the 1965 dub, the singing voices of the Dwarfs were provided by MPB-4. The two exceptions are Magalhães Graça (Doc, for his speaking lines in "Bluddle-Uddle-Um-Dum​") and Luíz Motta​ (Happy.)
  • On the 1994 VHS, the ending credits are colored in red. This was corrected on the 2001 VHS / DVD release.
  • In the 1938 version, Sleepy's bed was named "Somneca" while in the 1965 version, it was changed to "Soneca." This was due to the evolution of the Portuguese language. On the 1994 VHS, it is the 1965 version that is presented; the 1938 version is presented on the 2001 VHS / DVD.
  • The same also applies for the Witch's spell book. In the 1938 version the words, “Victima” and “Somno” were used while in the 1965 version, the words, “Vítima” and “Sono” are used.
  • The production credits of the Brazilian 1965 dub are at the beginning of the 1994 release. While in the 2001 release, they were moved to the end of the film.
  • The title cards were removed from the 2009 release in favor of black backgrounds with white text.
  • The 1965 dub was never redubbed and is still being used today.
