Trivia :
- Premiere of the first dubbing : 11/16/1990
- Premiere of the second dubbing : 02/06/1998
- The original dub was slightly redubbed in 1998. These modifications included a new voice for Flounder and redubbed songs. Everything else was left intact.
- Marie Ingerslev (Ariel speaking) is the daughter of Jess Ingerslev (Scuttle)
- Sissel Kyrkjebø did not perform the speaking voice of Ariel in the Danish dub as the producers believed that her voice was too Norwegian sounding. Sissel herself stated that, "I can sing in Danish, but I cannot speak it."
