Trivia :

  • Premiere : 11/29/1990
  • Re-release : 02/20/1998
  • Like the Swedish dub, the Norwegian dub was also censored. The same shots from the Swedish version were censored here as well. These shots include Ariel and Flounder in the sunken ship being chased by the shark, several shots of Triton destroying Ariel's grotto, Ursula stealing Ariel's voice, the first half of Les Poissons, and several shots during the final battle. These scenes were reinstated into the 2006 Platinum Edition DVD release but recycled audio to fill in the gaps.
  • *Morten Faldaas is credited as Morten Fald​ås in the official brochure, several newspapers, and the film itself.
  • The Norwegian credits are not included on the 1991 VHS release and the 2006 DVD release.
  • Nils Ole Oftebro is misspelt as Niels Ole Oftebro on the Disney+ credits.
