Trivia :

  • This was the first Disney animated feature to be dubbed in Spanish after the death of Edmundo Santos. Francisco Colmenero (who is the brother in-law of Edmundo Santos) took over the role of directing the dubs from 1981 to 1994. The only ones he did not direct were the Los Angeles dubs (Oliver and Company and The Little Mermaid) and Aladdin.
  • This dubbing is used in all Spanish speaking countries (including Spain.) In Spain, the film was renamed Tod y Toby but used the Latin Spanish dubbing.
  • In this dub, some of the names were localized into Spanish. Copper becomes Toby, Big Mama becomes ​Mamá Búho, Boomer becomes Trabalenguas, Widow Tweed becomes ​Viuda Tweed, and Chief becomes Jefe.
  • Erick Mendoza and Adolfo Madera (voices of Young Tod and Young Copper respectively) are cousins in real life.
  • At the end of the film, the final voiceover was only given by Erick Mendoza instead of Erick and Adolfo reading their lines together.
  • The opening titles are localized until the "supervising animators" slide.
  • The ending title card is presented in English on the VHS release.
