Trivia :
- There are three French versions of this film. The first from 1955, the second from 1989, and the third from 1997.
- The first dub divided the characters into different social classes in how they spoke French. For example, Lady speaks in a posh manner similar to how most middle-upper class people would speak French; while Tramp speaks in slang like how French would be spoken on the streets. The 1989 dub partially removed the class distinction but did not remove it entirely. The 1997 dub removed the class distinction entirely so that all the characters speak French the same way.
- The 1955 dub was only released on VHS in Quebec in 1987. Canada only saw the 1955 and 1997 dubs.
- The 1989 dub is only available in France and Belgium.
- Some of the voice actors in the 1989 dub also participated in the 1997 dubbing. Paule Emanuèle voiced Aunt Sarah in both dubs, Marie Ruggeri dubbed Peg's singing voice in the 1989 dubbing but dubbed her speaking and singing lines in the 1997 dubbing, Marc Alfos dubbed the Dogcatcher, and Roger Carel participated in both redubs as different characters.
- The scripts for the 1989 and 1997 dubs are nearly identical.
