Trivia :
- Premiere : 12/23/1955
- Re-release : ?/?/1979
- Re-release : ?/?/1989 (premiere of new second dub)
- According to the 1979 casting sheet, the original Dutch title of the film was Lady en de Schelm but all the cinema advertisements in the newspapers at the time used the title Lady en de Vagebond instead.
- *Newspapers from the time the 1955 dub was released such as De Telegraaf and Het Vrije Volk, reported that Wim Povel directed the 1955 dub. Source & Source. The De Telegraaf article spelled Wim Povel's name incorrectly. The Het Vrije Volk article was also published in other newspapers such as the Provinciale Drentsche en Asser Courant. Source
- Only extracts from the original 1955 dub have been found. The "Bella Notte" sequence has been shown on TV multiple times with the original Dutch dub and the "He's a Tramp" sequence is showcased on the Disney's Greatest Dog Stars rental VHS.
