Trivia :
- There are two dubs of this film. The first from 1953 and the second from 1986.
- The first dubbing was used from the first cinema release until the 1986 re-release.
- From the 1986 re-release forwards, Italy uses the 1986 version.
- On the 1993 VHS, it is the 1953 credits that are used, but the voice cast is from the 1986 version. In addition, Smee is misattributed to Sergio Fiorentini when he was voiced by Enzo Garinei. This applies to the 1998 VHS as well, it was corrected for the 2003 VHS release.
- The 1986 dub is available on all home media releases with the Italian dub. This includes all VHS versions, DVDs, and Blu-Ray.
- The 1953 dub was found with collector Nunziante Valoroso who had the dub in storage. Disney released this dub on the Blu-Ray release in 1.0 mono sound and in low quality. This is the only case in which Disney has provided both Italian versions on a physical media release.
