- *Because of a 1997 lawsuit, Lucie Dolène's part as the singing girl was redubbed by well known French voice actress Claire Guyot. Guyot later said that she would have not done it if she knew that she was redubbing Lucie's part. The rest of the dub remained the same.
- Starting in 2007, the original Lucie Dolène version was used in France. The only releases that have this version are the France 2000 VHS and DVD releases as well as the USA Limited Issue 1999 DVD release.
- Jean Martinelli dubbed both Shere Khan (speaking) and Colonel Hathi (speaking.)
- *Jean Cussac is said to be the singing voice for Bagheera on the credits but in reality, it is José Germain that did his singing voice.
- On an LP recording, the speaking voices were the same but the songs were rerecorded and the lyrics are completely different. In the film itself, "The Bare Necessities" is credited as Le Mini-Minimum in the film's main titles despite the film's lyrics being Il En Faut Peu Pour Être Heureux.
