- There are two French dubs of this movie. The first from 1953 and the second from 1992.
- Going outside the tradition of the stage play, Captain Hook and George Darling are voiced by two different people. Hook was voiced by Jean-Henri Chambois and Darling was voiced by Georges Hubert. This was corrected in the second dubbing where both Hook and Darling are voiced by Jean-Henri Chambois.
- Jean-Henri Chambois reprised his role as Captain Hook in the second dubbing after voicing him in the original dub nearly 40 years prior. The other actor that was also in the first dub was Henri Labussière. He also appeared in the second dubbing as one of the pirates.
- The first dubbing was included on the first Canadian VHS from 1990 and is the only official release of this dub as it was released prior to the creation of the 1992 dubbing. The 1992 dubbing was first released in Canada during 1998 for the Masterpiece Collection VHS release. The credits from the 1953 dubbing also appeared on the USA 2002 Special Edition DVD release despite that release having the 1992 dub.
- In France, only the 1992 dub is available as the first home video release in Europe was in 1992-1993. France didn't get Peter Pan on home video until 1996.
