Trivia :

  • Premiere : 12/22/1989
  • The Dutch dub was shown in 40 matinee theaters while the English version (alongside the Dutch version) was only shown in Alhambra and Amsterdam.
  • Arnold Gelerman (who voiced Einstein in this dub) was also the director.
  • Tito and Roscoe are voiced by the same person (Alfred Lagarde.)
  • Tito was given a Surinamese accent in this version. Originally, Arnold Gelderman gave Tito a Spanish accent but he couldn't find the right voice. He also tried an Italian accent, but that did not work either. 
  • René Froger is not credited as singing "Once Upon a Time in New York City" in the official Dutch credits for the film. But his name was mentioned in an newspaper article from De Telegraaf about Arnold Gelderman (the director) and mentions how the American technicians enjoyed Froger's performance of the title song as well as Dodger's voice (Frits Lambrechts.) Froger is credited on the audio CD soundtrack for the film however.
