  • Luis César Amadori was personally chosen by Walt Disney to direct and translate the Latin Spanish dubbing of this film. He expressed his gratitude in the opening credits.
  • Pinocchio was the first Disney animated film to be dubbed in Argentina.
  • This dubbing is used in all Spanish speaking countries. It is also the oldest Disney animated film not to be redubbed into Spanish.
  • This dubbing and the Brazilian Portuguese 1940 dubbing were the only dubbings to be recorded in 1940. This was due to World War II breaking out, preventing European distribution.
  • According to Diana Santos, Edmundo Santos planned to redub Pinocchio at some point in his career.  The casting was done with Mexican actors similar to Edmundo's other redubbings. But for unknown reasons, the project never materialized. Francisco Colmenero confirmed that he would have voiced Geppetto in this version.
  • This is the first film that Edmundo Santos participated in.
  • On the USA 1993 Spanish VHS, the visual credits are left in English.
