Trivia :
- Premiere : 12/13/1974 (West Germany)
- Re-release : 11/26/1982
- Peter Ustinov (who voices Prince John in the original English version) voiced Prince John in German as well. He spoke English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Russian fluently and also knew some Turkish and Greek. Aside from English, he only dubbed in French and German in films. Prince John in Robin Hood was one of the films Ustinov was in that he dubbed himself in German. He did not provide the French voice of Prince John or the German voice of King Richard.
- The opening credits were localized into German and were shown in cinemas and were shown on TV once. The VHS and DVD releases only showed the English version of the opening credits.
