Trivia :
- There are three German dubs of this film. The first from 1938, the second from 1966, and the third from 1994.
- Premiere date of the first dubbing : 02/24/1950
- Premiere date of the second dubbing : 11/18/1966
- The first dubbing was recorded in Amsterdam alongside the first Dutch dubbing due to the Nazi occupation in Germany at the time. It was also recorded there due to currency regulations in Germany.
- The 1938 dubbing was supervised by Roy Disney and Stuart Buchanan (original English voice of the Huntsman.)
- Negotiations to bring Snow White to Germany failed in March 1939. This is why the film premiered in West Germany in 1950.
- A redub was planned in 1949 with Paula Wessely dubbing Snow White, however this fell through and the 1938 dub was shown instead.
- Snow White was the most pirated Disney film in Germany. Bootleg tapes have been recorded on VHS and Betamax since the 1980s. This is how the 1966 dub was found and preserved.
- The 1994 dub was created as the 1966 dub was only intended to be screened in cinemas. It was also created as the 1966 dub couldn't be mastered into stereo at the time.
