Trivia :
- Release date of the 1st dub : 12/22/1939
- Release date of the 2nd dub : 12/25/1970
- Last cinema release of the film : 08/27/1993
- There are two Czech dubs of this film. The first from 1938 and the second from 1970.
- The first dub was also shown in Slovakia during the original 1938 release.
- About 70 minutes from the original 1938 dub have been found by film collectors. The only problem is that they will not share the audio with anyone. Therefore making this dub extremely rare.
- In newspapers, the cast of the first dub was abbreviated first letter first name - full last name.
- The reason the 1970 dub was created was due to the 1938 dub not being found at the time.
- In the 1970 dub, later mixes removed part of Snow White's "One Song" verse in favor of mixing the audio with the original English version. Bootleg tapes contain the original 1970 mix.
- The credits are not complete on the 2001 VHS/DVD as it is missing the technical credits for the 1938 Czech dub. An Icelandic DVD exists with the Czech dub technical credits but the DVD is extremely rare and not available freely to use at the moment.
I would like to thank Leonardo Forli for sending in his materials for this entry ! :)
