Trivia :
- When the film was first released in Denmark during the 1960s, it was called "Da Kongen Var Knægt." It used that title until the 1990s when it was changed to "Sværdet i Stenen."
- It took Nicolai Lichtenberg 45 days and 70,000 kroner to translate the film.
- The ending chorus was originally dubbed in Danish, but in the 1990s it was replaced by an instrumental version as the quality has deteriorated. It is available on the LP album published in the 1970s.
I would like to thank Leo Löfgren Roberts for sending me his materials for this entry. :)
